KEY PROPERTIES
Acid Zinc plating is a sacrificial coating recommended for steel, cast, wrought and forged iron components. As the zinc corrodes, the deposits reseal the steel stopping corrosion and further protecting it from the atmosphere.

PASSIVATES
Trivalent Blue Passivate – Produces a blue passivate of high visual appeal onto electroplated zinc deposits.
Features:
- Solution free from hexavalent chromium.
- Meets ‘end of life vehicle’ directive.
- Good corrosive resistance
Iridescent Trivalent Passivate – A passivate based upon trivalent chromium, producing an iridescent film through immersion. It has a characteristic green – yellow colour when used over zinc deposits.
Features:
- Solution free from hexavalent chromium and fluoride.
- Characteristic iridescent colour on zinc.
- Excellent corrosion resistance.
- Meets ‘end of life vehicle’ directive.
