PICKLE AND OIL
Pickling is a cleaning process that removes impurities from metals. The pickling solution used is hydrochloric acid. Oil is then added to protect against moisture in the air therefore preventing oxidisation.
DE-EMBRITTLEMENT
This is an oven treatment of between 8 – 24 hours, used to remove the hydrogen that can be diffused onto the plated parts during the electroplating process.
SALT SPRAY TESTING
Advatech can arrange for customers parts to be salt spray tested after plating, through a third party.
DELIVERY / COLLECTION
Our fleet of vehicles operate within East Anglia, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Our delivery / collection charge is per order and prices are available on request.
